Apple iPhone 8 and 8+ in 2017

Only the 5-inch iPhone 8 should have a glass back, wireless charging.

Another day, another contradicting iPhone rumor - when will it end? Well, next September is a pretty safe assumption.

Anyway, in today's batch of supposed specs for the future iPhone we have a 5-inch model that will be fitted with wireless (or rather, inductive) charging capability. Based on 'reliable sources' from Taiwan, Japanese blog Macotacara reports that only this 5-inch model will have a glass back thus enabling the inductive charging.

Just the other day another source claimed that all three models will be able to be charged wirelessly.

Continuing today's story, the source states that the wireless charger won't be included in the phone's package, but will instead be an optional accessory - nothing out of the norm, really. However, Apple will no longer be bundling the Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter - one generation is enough for the transition to Lightning or Bluetooth headphones, Apple must have figured.

Nothing but speculation here, but it's starting to look that there will be the 4.7" and 5.5" iPhone 8 and 8 Plus (or will it be 7s and 7s Plus) that will continue the path of the current models, while a dedicated (and likely more exclusive, read 'expensive') 5" anniversary model could be in the works with more distinctive features - wireless charging, OLED display, dual camera in a vertical arrangement. Just don't go quoting us on this one.

24 Natural Ways To Improve Your Eyesight

 #healthyliving  #eyesight   #eyecare  #improve   #natural
❤👉Eyesight👈❤
Do you miss the days when you could flaunt the flawless beauty of your eyes all day long? Do you think that eye makeup is a waste of time because your glasses camouflage the magical charm of your eyes anyway? I have been through a similar experience and wanted to get rid of my eyeglasses for a long time. However, you must understand that there are structural alterations in the eye that result into either myopia (short-sightedness) or hypermetropia (long- sightedness). If you want to get rid of your specs overnight, you can opt to wear contact lenses or undergo laser surgery for vision correction.

You probably might think these are the issues that would never get solved, right? Now that is where you are wrong. Because the following home remedies are so good that they ensure your eyes are back to their best health and that too in the fastest possible way.

Let us take a look at how to increase eyesight in a natural way for better vision.

Natural Ways to Improve Your Eyesight

Food For The Eyes

1. Spinach

Spinach is rich in not only vitamins A, B, C, E, and minerals such as iron and zinc, but also in lutein and zeaxanthin, the chemical components that help keep the eyes healthy. Eating spinach on a daily basis can prevent disorders like macular degeneration and cataract. Spinach also helps to keep the corneas healthy. Many people despise the way spinach tastes and smells. But you can surely get past the smell by adding a zing to spinach.

Add raw spinach to your fruit smoothies or use spinach and parsley to make a green smoothie and consume it daily. The sweetness and flavor of luscious fruits like strawberries and currants camouflage the taste of spinach really well while maintaining its nutrient content. You can make a spinach soup or cook it with pulses. Sandwiches and lasagnas containing fresh spinach taste heavenly. So why not add a twist to spinach and include it in your diet for a sharper vision?

2. Carrots

Carrots are a gorgeous and wholesome vegetable. They are so versatile and give a dish an amazing color. Apart from being scrumptious, carrots are loaded with beta-carotene, which later transforms into vitamin A, that enhances the general wellbeing of the eyes. You can find several recipes for carrot soup on the internet. Add it to the curries and pair it up with other veggies. You can derive maximum nourishment from raw carrots since the cooking process slightly deteriorates its nutritional profile. Munch on a carrot whenever you get an urge to snack or add it to your salads. But remember to drink lots of water, because carrots are high in fiber content.

You can consume one cup of carrot and gooseberry juice on an empty stomach. Like carrots, gooseberries are rich sources of vitamin A and antioxidants.

3. Broccoli

Broccoli is one of the super-foods with amazing health benefits. Including this food in your diet is another natural way to improve eyesight! Like spinach, broccoli too contains vitamin B, lutein, and zeaxanthin. These nutrients not only conserve vision, but also help improve it. Eating broccoli helps keep exhaustion, soreness, and blurred vision at bay. When the eyes are not subjected to a lot of stress, they perform better for longer. Broccoli promotes healthy eyesight by strengthening the eyes and reducing eye fatigue. Baked, grilled, sautéed or raw — broccoli tastes delicious. Toss in a floret or two in your salad, or puree it to make soup, you can incorporate the goodness of broccoli in your diet in numerous ways.

4. Fish

Oily fish like salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardine are packed with the healthy omega-3 fatty acids. These work like an antioxidant, protecting your eyes from damage caused by the free radicals in the body. The omega-3 fatty acids prevent dryness of the eyes that is generally caused by the use of contact lenses. Eat fish at least twice a week for a noticeable improvement in your vision within a few months. Baking or grilling is the best method of cooking these fish, which keeps its nutrient content intact. For a change, you can even make a sandwich by stuffing the grilled fish between two slices of wholegrain bread and some lettuce, mayo, and seasoning. Who can say no to a properly made tuna fish sandwich?

5. Avocado

Avocado is yet another veggie that contains lutein and beta-carotene. It is loaded with vitamin B, C, and E as well. As I mentioned before, lutein works wonders for your eyes. It is a photochemical that brings down your eyes’ sensitivity towards light. This ultimately reduces the strain on the eyes and promotes healthy vision in the long run. Make some guacamole and enjoy the guilt-free dip with your favorite nachos. Or how about a luscious and creamy avocado soup? Regular consumption is the best way to improve eyesight.

6. Berries

Berries are bursting with not only tangy flavors, but also with the goodness of abundant antioxidants. They contain a component named rhodopsin, which accelerates cellular regeneration that is vital for maintaining healthy eyes. The nutrients found in berries like blackberries, cranberries, and blueberries fortify the blood vessels and improve the blood circulation throughout the body, including the eyes. This also keeps swelling and irritation of eyes at bay and enhances the quality of your vision.

7. Nuts

Like fish, nuts too contain omega-3 fatty acids that keep your eyesight on track. So, don’t shy away from gorging on a handful of almonds, walnuts or cashews. Avoid eating roasted or processed nut. Go for fresh and raw nuts instead.

Simply soak almonds in hot water and peel off their skin. Add these almonds to one tablespoon of pure honey. Consume daily to improve weak eyesight.

8. Dry Fruits

Soak 15 raisins and two figs overnight in a bowl of water. Eat them on an empty stomach the next morning. The high amount of fiber and vitamins in these dry fruits help speed up the digestive processes and help the body get rid of toxins. This would thereby help to resolve eye-related problems.

9. Chocolates

Chocolates, particularly the dark ones, are rich in flavonoid, a sort of antioxidant which is good for the retina and cornea. A piece of dark chocolate twice a week won’t hurt. So go ahead and indulge yourself in the sinful goodness of chocolate.

10. Eggs

Eggs comprise of a lot of proteins. Proteins are the building blocks of our body. If you want the cellular regeneration process in your eyes to take place at a right pace, you need to supply your body with high-quality proteins. The egg yolk is surely a winner in this case. Why not crack up an egg or two and make a ‘sunny side up’ in a capsicum ring to make a funky breakfast?

11. Black Pepper With Honey

Adding a dash of black pepper to one tablespoon pure honey proves effective in treating weak eyesight. You can consume it every day.

12. Wild Rose Tea

Drink a cup of wild rose tea every day. Wild rose consists of vitamins B1, B2, C, P, K, E, and A. It also contains iron, calcium, sodium, manganese, and organic acids. These vitamins maintain the elasticity of the eye.

13. Honey And Cardamom

Consume one tablespoon of honey mixed with a few cardamom seeds. This is another remedy that would offer a significant benefit to your eye.

14. Consume Water Stored In A Copper Vessel

Store one liter of water in a copper vessel overnight and drink it the next morning. Copper lends innumerable healing properties to the eyes and other vital organs.

15. Sugar – Coriander Eye Drop Solution

Mix one part of sugar with three parts of coriander. Grind both of them together until you get a paste. Boil this paste in water and cover it for an hour. Use a clean cotton cloth and sieve this solution. This is to be used as your eyedrop solution.

16. Mud Pack

To relax and rejuvenate your eyes, apply a mud pack on the eyelids. This will also help in releasing pressure and relaxing your strained nerves.

17. Blink More Often

Blinking your eyes after every few seconds is the best way to reduce straining and fatigue of the eyes. It is the easiest and unfortunately the most neglected exercise for the eyes. As you blink, the eyes go into the dark phase for a moment, which keeps them fresh and releases stress. It’s like giving your eyes a break so that they can focus better for longer. People using computers often forget to blink their eyes, because they are so engrossed in whatever they are doing. You must blink your eyes every four to five seconds to avoid fatigue, strain, and irritation.

18. Rotating Exercise With Eyes Open

Circling the eyes is a great way to get rid of any stiffness and fatigue. It’s a really simple exercise, but the best way to improve eyesight. Sit down comfortably. You need to rotate your eyes as your look up, sideways and down. First, rotate your eyes clockwise five times. Then, do the same in an anti-clockwise manner. This routine will ease any stiffness in the muscles around the eyes, making them flexible and ultimately reducing the stress on the eyes that otherwise can worsen your vision over time.

19. Rotating Exercise With Eyes Closed

This is a very therapeutic workout for the eyes. This workout is just the same as the one mentioned above, but needs to be performed with closed eyes. Gently close your eyes as you sit back or lie down. Move your eyes in a circular motion in a clockwise and then anticlockwise direction, five times each. The purpose is to relieve the eye muscles, strengthen the blood vessels, and amplify the blood circulation and supply of oxygen.

20. Working On Focus

This is a very interesting and equally effective workout for the eyes and takes just a couple of minutes. A fast way to improve eyesight! You need to sit down comfortably. Extend your hand and focus on your index finger. Focus on it for a few seconds. Now shift your focus from the finger to another object placed at a distance of ten feet. Focus on that object for a few seconds and come back to the finger again. Continue this exercise for two minutes to reinforce the muscles around the eyes and enhance your eyesight.

21. Maintaining Focus

This is a variation of the above-mentioned exercise. When seated in a comfortable position, stretch your arm in front of you and stick your index finger up and straight. Focus on the finger. Now, slowly bring the finger closer to your face till it’s just four inches away. Now stretch out your arm again. Try maintaining the focus on the moving finger. If done regularly, this exercise improves your eyesight to a considerable extent overtime.

22. Palming

This is not particularly an exercise, but it relaxes your eyes as well as the mind. It is a great way to take a break from the computer or the TV. Sit in a chair in front of a table. Take a couple of deep breaths. Bend forward a little to rest your elbows on the desk. Slightly fold over your hands to form a cup with your palms. Place the palms on your eyes so that your fingertips touch your forehead and the heel of your hand is on the cheeks. Do not exert pressure on your eyes with your palms. Make sure you can blink with ease in the cup of your palms. Take slow deep breaths. You will be amazed at how relaxed you feel after resting your eyes like that.

23. Apply A Little Pressure

This is also an exercise that relieves stiffness and fatigue of the eye muscles, making you feel at ease. It involves applying light pressure with your fingertips on some areas of your face, particularly those above the eyes. You need to be comfortably seated with eyes closed. Slightly curl your fingers so that all the four fingertips are in alignment. Place the fingertips on the area above each eye, i.e., just above the eyebrows. You have to place them in such a way that the index fingers touch the inner end of the eyebrows. Apply gentle pressure with your fingertips on that area and smoothly make your way towards the outer side of the eyebrows, i.e., towards the temple. Come back to the inner side of the eyebrows again. Repeat the motion 10 times and you will feel really refreshed.

24. Splash!

We never forget to wash our face several times in a day. But it is important to wash the eyes too, particularly every night before going to bed and every morning after waking up. You can use water that is at room temperature. During winters, you can use lukewarm water because chilled water can make your eyes dry. Use drinking water for this splashing routine. Splashing your eyes with water will wash out the dust and dirt, and provide moisture as well.

Protection And Hygiene

Certain measures should be followed to protect your eye vision and overall eye health.

Avoid sitting close to the television screen or computer monitor.
Avoid using these devices for long periods of time and at a continuous stretch. Look away from the monitor occasionally and rest your eyes every few minutes.
Avoid exposing your eyes to the harsh sun rays, smoke, dust and strong winds. Wear sunglasses to avoid the strong glare of the sun.
Wear swimming goggles to protect your eyes from chlorinated water in the swimming pool or debris in the ocean.
Read and work in a well-lit area to avoid eye strain.
Look away and rest your eyes every few minutes.
Practice some basic eye exercises, like closing your eyelids and gently massaging your eyeballs.
Soak a ball of cotton in cold rose water and place it on your eyelid for 5-10 minutes.
Wash or sanitize your hands regularly. Regularly use eye drops to avoid dry eyes.
When it comes to improving vision, a combination of right food, exercise, and taking proper care of the eyes can yield favorable results. The overall health of your eyes depends on certain nutrients, such as vitamin A and C, bioflavonoids, carotenoids, omega-3 fatty acids, minerals, and antioxidants. Incorporating these nutrients into your diet will help improve your eyesight. Apart from the food items mentioned above, sweet potato, kale, Swiss chard, turnips, and mustard leaves also contain vitamin A. Peppers are rich sources of vitamin C that is essential for maintaining the overall health of your eyes.

Proper nutrition strengthens your eyes while proper exercise de-stresses your extra-ocular muscles. Healthy muscles and enhanced blood circulation promote healthier vision. The key to an enhanced vision is perseverance and patience, because there is no shortcut to improved eyesight when you take the natural path.

While it is not quite possible to eliminate the vision problem altogether, you can definitely bring the power of your eyeglasses down by several points in a matter of few months. You must wear your spectacles, whenever needed. Many people don’t wear spectacles, thinking that it hides the beauty of their overall look. However, not wearing spectacles can lead to further deterioration of vision. So, stick to your glasses, eat healthy, give your eyes a gentle workout and slowly but surely, your eyesight will improve!

Magnificent And Massive Great Wall Of India

Most people have heard of the famous Great Wall of China, but not everyone knows that in India there is a magnificent ancient structure that is almost identical.
It is called the Great Wall of India and it surrounds the ancient fort of Kumbhalgarh. Kumbhalgarh Fort is a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan state in western India. It is a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar. Occupied until the late 19th century, the fort is now open to the public and is spectacularly lit for a few minutes each evening. Kumbalgarh is situated 82 km northwest of Udaipur by road. It is the most important fort in Mewar after Chittaurgarh.
In 2013, at the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Kumbhalgarh Fort, along with five other forts of Rajasthan, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.
With a wall over 38 km long, the fort is the second largest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China and the second largest fort in Rajasthan after Chittorgarh Fort.

Light Echoes Give Clues to Protoplanetary Disk

Imagine you want to measure the size of a room, but it's completely dark. If you shout, you can tell if the space you're in is relatively big or small, depending on how long it takes to hear the echo after it bounces off the wall.

Astronomers use this principle to study objects so distant they can't be seen as more than points. In particular, researchers are interested in calculating how far young stars are from the inner edge of their surrounding protoplanetary disks. These disks of gas and dust are sites where planets formover the course of millions of years.

"Understanding protoplanetary disks can help us understand some of the mysteries about exoplanets, the planets in solar systems outside our own," said Huan Meng, postdoctoral research associate at the University of Arizona, Tucson. "We want to know how planets form and why we find large planets called 'hot Jupiters' close to their stars."

Meng is the first author on a new study published in the Astrophysical Journal using data from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and four ground-based telescopes to determine the distance from a star to the inner rim of its surrounding protoplanetary disk.

Making the measurement wasn't as simple as laying a ruler on top of a photograph. Doing so would be as impossible as using a satellite photo of your computer screen to measure the width of the period at the end of this sentence.

Instead, researchers used a method called "photo-reverberation," also known as "light echoes." When the central star brightens, some of the light hits the surrounding disk, causing a delayed “echo.” Scientists measured the time it took for light coming directly from the star to reach Earth, then waited for its echo to arrive.

Thanks to Albert Einstein's theory of special relativity, we know that light travels at a constant speed. To determine a given distance, astronomers can multiply the speed of light by the time light takes to get from one point to another.

To take advantage of this formula, scientists needed to find a star with variable emission -- that is, a star that emits radiation in an unpredictable, uneven manner. Our own sun has a fairly stable emission, but a variable star would have unique, detectable changes in radiation that could be used for picking up corresponding light echoes. Young stars, which have variable emission, are the best candidates.

The star used in this study is called YLW 16B and lies about 400 light-years from Earth. YLW 16B has about the same mass as our sun, but at one million years old, it's just a baby compared to our 4.6-billion-year-old home star.

Astronomers combined Spitzer data with observations from ground-based telescopes: the Mayall telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona; the SOAR and SMARTS telescopes in Chile; and the Harold L. Johnson telescope in Mexico. During two nights of observation, researchers saw consistent time lags between the stellar emissions and their echoes in the surrounding disk. The ground-based observatories detected the shorter-wavelength infrared light emitted directly from the star, and Spitzer observed the longer-wavelength infrared light from the disk's echo. Because of thick interstellar clouds that block the view from Earth, astronomers could not use visible light to monitor the star.

Researchers then calculated how far this light must have traveled during that time lag: about 0.08 astronomical units, which is approximately 8 percent of the distance between Earth and its sun, or one-quarter the diameter of Mercury's orbit. This was slightly smaller than previous estimates with indirect techniques, but consistent with theoretical expectations.

Although this method did not directly measure the height of the disk, researchers were able to determine that the inner edge is relatively thick.

Previously, astronomers had used the light echo technique to measure the size of accretion disks of material around supermassive black holes. Since no light escapes from a black hole, researchers compare light from the inner edge of the accretion disk to light from the outer edge to determine the disk size. This technique is also used to measure the distance to other features near the accretion disk, such as dust and the surrounding fast-moving gas.

While light echoes from supermassive black holes represent delays of days to weeks, scientists measured the light echo from the protoplanetary disk in this study to be a mere 74 seconds.

The Spitzer study marks the first time the light echo method was used in the context of protoplanetary disks.

"This new approach can be used for other young stars with planets in the process of forming in a disk around them," said Peter Plavchan, co-author of the study and assistant professor at Missouri State University in Springfield.

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, manages the Spitzer Space Telescope mission for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington. Science operations are conducted at the Spitzer Science Center at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. Meng was a visiting researcher at Caltech during this research. Spacecraft operations are based at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company in Littleton, Colorado. Data are archived at the Infrared Science Archive housed at the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center at Caltech. Caltech manages JPL for NASA.

The Image

This illustration shows a star surrounded by a protoplanetary disk. Material from the thick disk flows along the star’s magnetic field lines and is deposited onto the star’s surface. When material hits the star, it lights up brightly.

The star's irregular illumination allows astronomers to measure the gap between the disk and the star by using a technique called "photo-reverberation" or "light echoes." First, astronomers look at how much time it takes for light from the star to arrive at Earth. Then, they compare that with the time it takes for light from the star to bounce off the inner edge of the disk and then arrive at Earth. That time difference is used to measure distance, as the speed of light is constant.

Forget Wi-Fi. Meet the new Li-Fi Internet

What if we could use existing technologies to provide Internet access to the more than 4 billion people living in places where the infrastructure can't support it? Using off-the-shelf LEDs and solar cells, Harald Haas and his team have pioneered a new technology that transmits data using light, and it may just be the key to bridging the digital divide. Take a look at what the future of the Internet could look like.

Li-Fi is, in no way, Replacing Wi-Fi. They have very different uses. Lifi can only receive data.. at the moment.. We can use this technology to bring internet around the world; not for upload, but download. Imagine transmitting the encyclopedia britanica, and any digitized book, to schools in the Congo for virtually no cost. I for one can't wait until we develop more solar-based technology. Maybe then we'll start investing in it because apparently global warming and dissapearing landmass is not reason enough. Maybe if we offer people faster internet, they'll consider it.
Like all existing tech in this world, Li-Fi has its limits as well. Just like Wi-Fi, its speed will depend on the initial potential speed of the data being delivered by the ISP, or your internet service provider. If you happen to choose a cheaper package or service that does not offer you sufficient speeds, then the speeds of Li-Fi will be absolutely worthless for your requirement. Also, you have to keep in mind that Li-Fi also depends on your device being within range of the light being transmitted by your Li-Fi bulb. In short, you will actually have to see the source of light in order to connect to a wireless network.

The New Concorde flying soon masterpiece

The original Concorde, a flying masterpiece, could zip from London to New York in a breakneck 3 hours and 30 minutes. For many people, it was a dream to experience faster-than-sound travel, and the prospect of cutting the seven to eight hour journey to half the time was enough to make even the most robust traveler giddy with delight. Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has been taking inspiration from this flying dream, and they have now won a patent for the next stage in speedy travel. And this monster goes faster and higher than ever before seen in commercial air travel.

One hour. That's how long London to New York would take in the planned hypersonic plane, called the “Ultra-rapid air vehicle” but dubbed Concorde 2.0. This new passenger aircraft would fly at up to four and a half times the speed of sound, Mach 4.5, compared to up to Mach 2.5 for the original Concorde.

July 28 World Hepatitis Day

How much do you know about hepatitis B or C ? Have you experienced that? You have friends or relatives who are ill?

In 2013 the This is hepatitis theme has been evolved to This is hepatitis… Know it. Confront it. The new slogan encourages people to recognise how prevalent the condition is. It also challenges people to take steps to increase their own awareness, but also the priority of the disease worldwide.

World Hepatitis Day, observed on July 28 every year, aims to raise global awareness of hepatitis B and hepatitis C and encourage prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
Approximately 500 million people worldwide are living with either hepatitis B or hepatitis C . If left untreated and unmanaged, hepatitis B or C can lead to advanced liver scarring (cirrhosis) and other complications, including liver cancer or liver failure. While many people worry more about contracting AIDS than hepatitis, the reality is that every year 1.5 million people worldwide die from either hepatitis B or C faster than they would from HIV/AIDS.
Hepatitis groups, patients and advocates worldwide take part in events on 28th July to mark the occasion. Notably in 2012, a Guinness World Record was created when 12,588 people from 20 countries did the Three Wise Monkeys actions on World Hepatitis Day to signify the willful ignorance of the disease.

During The Nights Of August 11-14,2015

Its not visible to whole world. There is a plan to live telecast it with using youtube with possible surges of 100 per hour. Most will be impacting Earth. Exterminating all life as we know it.
some people respect God enough to actually read his holy book. So yeah, there are people worried about those "fairytales" which are true stories. I am one of those people.

you can respect imaginary people, that's totally fine! But, since there's no proof except for that one ancient book, written by man, during an age when people knew little to nothing about how the universe operates.... There is no truth. It's pure belief. So, you shouldn't try to pass off your opinion as fact.
Thank you kindly!

Begin to play a game of Monopoly

Your friend gets to play using the normal rules. He starts the game with $1,500 in cash, and, every time he passes "Go," he gets $200. He uses two dice to move around the board.

You, however, only get $300 at the start of the game, and you get just $50 every time you pass "Go." You use one die to move around the board.

The two of you play for an hour or so. At that point, your friend has accumulated many properties, built several houses, and has over a thousand in cash.

You, however, are not doing so well. You have no houses, just two properties (and one is mortgaged to pay for last turn's rent), and your cash is $60.

You then proclaim that the game isn't fair. Your friend agrees. The two of you both start getting $200 every time you pass "Go" and you both use two dice to move around the board.

How long do you think it will take you to even up the game? Or will your friend continue to benefit from the lead he built based on the advantages he had for so long?

That, in a greatly simplified nutshell, is the economics of systemic inequality.

And whether that inequality is based on race or gender or sexuality or religion or some other factor, the effects of long-term, inherited disadvantages perpetuated over generations cannot suddenly be erased simply by giving everyone access to the same rules.

Introducing New Currency in Pakistan

A country’s currency design is a ubiquitous component of its overall nation-brand which works as, in addition to as a legal tender, a visual reminder of the nation’s history, values and culture. This self-initiated project’s goal was to redesign Pakistan’s currency notes while exploring different possibilities in terms of patterns, motifs, personalities, layout and typography.

In the sub-continent currency designs revolve usually around one personality. For Pakistan it has always been Quaid-e-Azam, for India it’s always been Gandhi. Here we have a proposition by Lahore based designer Shan ul Haq that celebrates several major personalities who played pivotal roles in the making of Pakistan.
The majority of people hand over notes vertically when making purchases. All machines accept notes vertically. Therefore a vertical note makes more sense. While working on the project, there wasn’t an intention or motivation to send it as a proposal to the State Bank, but who knows!

Female Werewolf

Werewolves have existed in folklore in one form or another for thousands of years, originating from proto-Indo-European mythology and later appearing in other cultures. The term "werewolf" means "wolf man" in Old English, similar to the "wolf skin" of Slavic or "wolf human" (lycanthrope) derived from Ancient Greek. Some were thought to shapeshift between forms on will, while others were believed to be cursed. A lesser known attribute of the witch hunts in Medieval Europe was the simultaneous persecution of those considered to be werewolves. Not a nice time to live.
The beautiful character Volchista is a werewolf, and uses her attractiveness to lure the giant wolf Vedrir into battle.

How to Tightline Eyes

To tightline or not to tightline, that is the question.  If you've got allergy-ridden eyes at the moment I'll answer that for you--don't o it.   A kohl pencil is your friend if you want to do this.  And why would you want to?  Tightlining fills in the spaces between your eyelashes which make them look fuller.  Plus, it's like coloring inside the lines and hard to mess up.  Of course, you could poke yourself in the eye.

Deliverance of strongholds

did you know strongholds are generational curses on your families blood line. Things that are not of God or his will and purpose for your life being in a state of lack, poverty, drugs, bad relationships, divorce, control, sickness, walking in darknes. When God created Adam he gave him dominion over the animals of the earth so that means what ever Adam saw he call out there name and it was so! We as God's people carry the same power whatever we speak it will be so we have been put in authority. The enemy knows this so he will attack what you see and hear to make you lose faith in God's word. We have the power to bind and lose in the name of Jesus when we bind a stronghold over our lives it can't be transferred to our children. Therefore the generational curse has been broken over the family line. Now we as his people can walk out our God given promise for our lives being at the level God wants you to be instead of not enough vill. Brake the chains of the enemy today don't wait God can only intervene unless you invite him to table. Prayer changes things speak life not death. Stay blessed family:-) smile

The Battle of Facebook and Google+ flame Wars

This social network has now hit 400 #million registered users and has 100 #million monthly active users according to a Google’s Vic Gundotra.

Some other facts and statistics about Google+ include:
--Males dominate its registered user population at 67%
--The average age is 28 years for males and 38 years for females
--Google+ users are #more technically savvy than Facebook users

[INFOGRAPHIC] - a bit old but some things still stand.

"Lately, there has been a lot of buzz about the competition between Facebook and Google+, so we thought we would lay all the facts out on the table.

With over 350 million active users, Google+ surpassed Twitter and is coming in at second place behind Facebook. Who will come out on top? And most importantly, which network is the most beneficial to your brand?

Both networks excel when it comes to building communities and encouraging engagement, but in very different ways.

Facebook is best for fostering personal relationships with friends and family.
On the other hand, Google+ excels at fueling common interests and finding intellectual matches, (since its audience is very technically oriented).

What if Facebook became an answer engine? What if each social networks became a wisdom-of-crowds database? What if computers  learnt to how to cure diseases, create cheap, renewable energy, and perform the jobs that employ most human beings?

The province of all this is exactly what's behind the application of semantic technologies. Facebook has face recognition software already in play (as does Google in Google+) but that's not enough. What is really needed is the power of Google's semantic search in a more contextualized way, dealing with a smaller but still incredibly large data set.

The players are Google (attempting to tame the web), Apple (within its ecosystem), Facebook (within ... well, Facebook) and Amazon within its own ecosystem.
