A huge Whale (which may be a Humpback) was stranded Friday on a white sand beach in the Nicaraguan coast town of Tola.
More than 50 locals & tourists battled to exhaustion trying to save the massive Whale. The Animal Lovers efforts were sadly in vain, they all succumbed to exhaustion at sunset, in a doomed bid to push the giant 60ft beached Whale back out to sea.
An average humpback whale can weight about 79,000 pounds.
The Pacific region off Nicaragua’s southern coast sees a lot of humpback whales and dolphins at this time of year.
