The graphic designer that
brought you the beautiful Sea Level Rise Map, Martin Vargic, is back with a map
that depicts the Earth as it was during the last glacial maximum. The designers
worked with geologists to capture the exposed coastlines and land bridges (sea
level was lower as more water was frozen in the ice sheets).
'It is the first map of its kind on such a scale and level of complexity, and depicts our planet as it looked during the late glacial maximum of the last ice age, 14,000 years BCE,' Vargic says.
